2. PURPOSE AND LEGAL GROUNDS

This section contains information on how the CNR-IGG manages the processing of data of users visiting the GeoThopica portal.
This information is provided only for the portal and not for other websites that may be reached by the user through external links.
Some pages may require personal data: we inform you that failure to provide them may prevent to achieve the purposes to which the processing is related.
Pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679, we inform you that the processing of personal data in this portal relates exclusively to personal data acquired in connection with the achievement of the institutional purposes of CNR-IGG, or in any case related to the exercise of public interest tasks and the exercise of public powers to which it is called, including the purposes of transparency, communication, research and scientific dissemination and analysis for statistical, educational and administrative purposes, pursuant to art. 6, paragraph 1, letter e) and, in particular, in order to provide and improve the web services being offered.

3. PROCESSING AND STORAGE METHODS

Such personal data are processed in a lawful, correct, relevant manner, limited to what is necessary to achieve the purposes of the processing, for only as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and in any case in accordance with the principles set out in Article 5 of EU Regulation 2016/679.
Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access.
CNR-IGG does not adopt on its institutional website any automated decision-making process, including profiling, as referred to in Article 22(1) and (4) of GDPR 2016/679.

4. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECTS

Data subjects have the right, at any time, to request to the Data Controller access to and correction or deletion of their personal data or restriction of the processing concerning them or to object to the processing in accordance with Articles 15 to 22 of EU Regulation 2016/679.
The data subject may exercise these rights by applying to the Data Controller.
Data subjects, if the conditions are met, are also granted the right to submit a complaint to the Privacy Guarantor as supervisory authority (https://www.garanteprivacy.it).

5. USERS REGISTERED TO THE COMMUNITY

Without precluding reference to specific information contained in the GeoThopica Portal, this Privacy Policy shall also apply to the processing of Personal Data voluntarily entered by the user in the community registration form within the portal.
Users of the portal, if they wish, can decide to become part of the community. To this end, a registration form has been set up on the GeoThopica portal, in which users must enter the following personal data: first name, surname, email address.
